have you ever gotten lost and walked around for a long time until you found somewhere you knew how to go back home from?
Yes, actually. It’s happened a couple times in my grandfather’s neighborhood (all the streets look very similar and have enormous trees, so it’s hard to get one’s bearings), but when I went to Guatemala, I got lost practically every day. I remember walking up and down the same street eight times until I finally recognized the bakery near where I was staying.
